The difference between the player classes and the NPC types is mainly the detail in the name. Player classes are things like 'Warrior', 'Battlemage', 'Arachnomancer', and so on. An NPC type will usually have something added to distinguish it, like 'Chaos Warrior', 'Arcane Battlemage', or 'Demonic Mercenary'.

These extra details are usually given to players through talent trees in games, but I decided to stick with the most generic forms so you do not have to click a hundred times just to pass all the classes which are essentially the same.
