This name generator will conjure 12 random names for fantasy animals. Unlike the more general fantasy creature generator, these names are designed to be more randomized and original, akin to those from a species name generator.

Some names incorporate fragments of real animal names, much like how a newly discovered animal might be named after an existing one due to resemblance or familial ties. The names are structured into roughly three types:

• The first 4 names will always begin with a subtle animal part, though some, like 'Alli', 'Rabb', or 'Hipp', might be more obvious.
• The next 4 names always conclude with a partial or complete animal name, often quite noticeable. (Un)fortunate random combinations might even resemble Pokémon names!
